Ginseng instead of Coffee
Many of us have Coffee in the morning, or at midday, to give us that little bit of an energy boost. Those of us who are middle aged may have been in this habit for years. But of course there are alternatives, and these alternatives may be better options.
We can replace coffee with ginseng, or ginseng combined with other things like green tea (with L-theanine). and if we keep the coffee in moderation (one per day) there is no reason not to do both.
Slow release of energy. caffeine may give a moderate spike of energy, followed by an energy slump a few hours latter. At the same time it stay in our system for most of the day, perhaps even making it difficult to sleep at night.
Ginseng gives steady flow of energy, with no hard spike or crash. If taken early in the day it should't cause sleep problems at night.
Ginseng tend to give a a clear mind rather than just a physical rush. This is good for concentration. Some people find coffee/caffeine does this, other give different reports.
Ginseng combined with the L-Theanine of green tea, and a little caffeine is very good for clarity of thought and concentration. And it feels normal, rather than an artifical high.
Ginseng has long terms health benefits. It seems to have anti-aging properties for skin and hair.
Ginseng is great for the immune system.
We can take ginseng as Korean red Gineng tea, Korean red ginseng candy, or as a supplement.
